Shipping

What happens after my order is shipped?

You'll receive a confirmation email to let you know your order has been dispatched (sometimes these go to junk mail). See more about estimated shipping times and our shipping policy here.

In the event that your package is left unclaimed or deemed undeliverable, it will be sent back to us at the return address. We will be in contact with you as soon as possible to agree on a new shipment. As all of our products are made to order, we do not refund any unclaimed orders.

I haven't received my order?

If you haven't received a shipping confirmation email in a reasonable amount of time, please contact us at hello(a)byainosalo.com. Please allow some days for processing and manufacturing after purchase, as all of our products are made to order.

If you have received an email confirmation of shipping, please contact your national mail carrier with any queries or concerns. For all orders please make sure to provide a secure delivery address as we cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

How are prints packaged for shipping?

Art prints are hand rolled in protective tissue paper and then shipped in extra thick cardboard tubes unless they are A4 or smaller and being delivered in the UK or Europe (in which case they are shipped in thick cardboard envelopes).

The packaging standards have been refined by the supplier over many years and it's extremely rare for breakages or damage to occur. On those rare occasions when incidents do happen replacements are organised immediately and shipped back out on a priority service without any fuss.

Order issues

Can I exchange or return an item?

Unfortunately, we can't accept returns as all products are made to order.  This allows us as a small business to offer a wider product catalog while also saving resources and the environment.

Damages

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at hello(a)byainosalo.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Giclée printing

What is a Giclée print?

The word "Giclée" is French for "sprayed ink". The term is used to describe a sophisticated inkjet printmaking process which creates the highest quality fine art reproductions. Giclée printing offers extra-fine image resolution, helping retain a higher degree of detail from the original fine art.

How long do your Giclée prints last?

The archival nature of the print varies according to the type of inks used, as well as the archival properties of your chosen paper selected and the conditions in which the print is displayed or stored. Current scientific lab reports suggested that our papers and Giclée printing process will produce a print that lasts between 100-200 years in optimal conditions.

Please note any print located in direct sunlight is still likely to fade over time.
